Creating your account on Caraving is very simple, just follow these steps:
- Access the "Sign Up" option: You can do this from the homepage or directly through this link.
- Fill out the form: Complete the fields with your email, first name, last name, password, confirm password, and date of birth. Make sure all the information is correct!
- Accept our terms and conditions: Check the terms acceptance box and then click the "Sign Up" button.
- Verify your account: You will receive two emails. One will welcome you, and the other will contain a verification link. You must click that link to activate your account.
- Verification link: For security reasons, the link we send has a validity of 30 minutes. If it expires, you will need to reset your password using the "Forgot your password?" option. For more details, check our help article: “Reset your password”.

Behind every rental there is a Host, a real person who can provide you with all the information you need to know to feel at home. They can interact with Travelers in different ways.
Almost everyone can be a Host and rent their caravan vehicle through Caraving. Registering and publishing a caravan and motorhome rental ad is completely free. All Hosts are expected to meet our quality standards at all times.
Hosts of caravanning vehicles
We require all Hosts offering RV rentals to meet our basic requirements for overall rating, response rate, cancellations and booking acceptance, and we also require Hosts to comply with our Terms and Conditions of Service and additional Terms and Conditions. When booking a caravan vehicle on Caraving, Travelers can read the Host's profile page or reviews from previous bookings to find out what to expect from the Host, such as the languages they speak, their response rate and whether they will be in the same or nearby location. during the rental.
Hosts can publish a wide variety of caravanning vehicles for rent, such as caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, motorhomes, and other options that will be incorporated into the Caraving platform. Some Hosts who are on site or nearby like to greet Travelers personally when they arrive. Others will provide Travelers with all the information they need to know to register and access themselves. Travelers can and should always contact the Host with any questions before or during their rental.
At Caraving, Hosts establish the cancellation policies that Travelers must accept at the time of making an Instant Booking or Booking Request. Terms vary depending on time remaining upon arrival (start of rental).
You'll find cancellation details at the bottom of the page for the listing you want to book. You can also review the cancellation policy again before making your reservation. After booking, you will find the information on the reservation from your "Trips" page.
Hosts, when creating their listing, choose from several cancellation policies created by Caraving to protect both Hosts and Travelers. The available policies are: Flexible, Moderate and Strict.
When looking for a caravan or motorhome on Caraving, you can narrow down your options by using the filters and reading the listing descriptions to see if they would be suitable for your trip.
To search for a caravanning vehicle:
- Enter your destination, dates and number of Travelers in the caravan and motorhome search engine on the home page. At your destination you can search by campsite name, town, province (state) or autonomous community (region).
- Click Search.
- If you want, you can use the Filters to narrow down your options (price range, amenities, and more). Click More Filters to see all the filters we have available to refine your search.
- Scroll through listings or use the map to find listings posted in your desired location.
- Click on a listing to see all its information. To learn more about that listing, read the description, check the available amenities, review the Owner Policies, and view reviews and ratings from other Travelers.
- If you have any questions, send the Host a message. Alternatively, if you're ready to book, make a Booking Request to the listing Owner (or use Instant Booking if the Owner has this option enabled).
You can also save the caravans and motorhomes that you like the most to your wish list to have them on hand at any time or to share them with your friends.
The first thing would be to do a search from the main page by destination, dates and number of travelers to be able to identify in the list of results which ones accept Reservation Requests and which ones Instant Bookings. To quickly identify them, we have added a yellow lightning bolt icon next to the price per night in those listings that accept Instant Bookings. This way you will know that those listings that do not have a yellow lightning bolt next to the price per night are the ones that accept Reservation Requests.
Once those that accept Reservation Requests have been located:
- Enter the listing to see all its information and reviews.
- If you use a PC, on the right side of the screen you will see a box with the reservation dates and number of travelers and then the "Reservation Request" button. If you are using a smartphone, you will see that same button at the bottom of the page.
- Once you have reviewed the dates, travelers, prices and the Host's rules, you can click on the "Reservation Request" button. You won't have to make any payments yet.
- On the next screen we give you the opportunity to review all the reservation data, cancellation policy, Owner rules, etc. which you will have to accept to send your request to the Host. You will also find a space where you can write to the Host introducing yourself and asking any questions you may have. Click on the "Booking Request" button to send the request to the Host. You won't have to make any payments yet.
- Upon submission, said request will remain in "Pending" status until the Host Pre-accepts it or sends a Special Offer. Don't worry, you still won't be charged anything, nor will you have any obligation to pay it even if the Host Pre-accepts it. Keep looking for other caravaning vehicles as the Host could reject it or simply take a while to respond.
- The Host can Pre-accept it, send a Special Offer (in this case the request would also remain in Pre-accepted status), reject it, or may not respond.
Pre-accepted: Hurry up to accept the reservation so that it is confirmed for you. Please note that the Host still receives Booking Requests from other people and someone could beat you to it if they accept theirs before you.
Pre-accepted with Special Offer: The Host, after speaking with the Traveler, could send a better offer or add the amount of any additional service that the Traveler has requested and the Request would remain in "Pre-accepted" status. The Traveler has 24 hours to accept that Special Offer by confirming it by making payment. After that time the Special Offer will be lost although it will remain Pre-accepted with its original price. Hurry up to accept the reservation so that it is confirmed for you and not lose it as in the previous case of "Pre-accepted".
Rejected: The Traveler will have to find another caravanning vehicle to reserve.
Host does not respond: The Host has 24 hours to Pre-accept, send a Special Offer or reject the request. If after that time, the Host has not taken action, this request would become expired. That is why we recommend that you do not stop searching and save other options that you like to your "Wish List", in case the time comes you have to look for an alternative caravanning vehicle.
You can see the status of your requests at any time from "Trips" - "Pending requests".
We have grouped all the information about the Host Cancellation Policies together with that of the Travelers on the Caraving Cancellation Policies page. There you will find both the penalties for letting reservation requests expire and the penalties for canceling confirmed reservations.
To verify your phone number on Caraving, just follow these steps:
- Access your account: Log in to Caraving using your credentials (username and password).
- Go to your profile: Once inside your account, click on your profile picture or username and select the “Account” option.
- Access the “Personal” section: Within your account, select the tab that says “Personal” to manage your data.
- Edit your phone number: Scroll down to the “Phone” option and click the “Edit” button.
- Enter your number: Choose your country, enter your mobile phone number, and then click “Send verification code.” Make sure to have your phone handy as you will receive an SMS with a code.
- Enter the code: When you receive the SMS, enter the verification code in the field that will appear on the website.
- Done! If everything went well, your phone number will be automatically verified. Remember that your number will only be visible to the Traveler or Host once a reservation has been confirmed.
Notice for Hosts: This is a fundamental requirement to publish your listing. If you do not verify your phone number, your listing will never be verified by Caraving.

Si quieres alquilar tu caravana o autocaravana en Caraving, ¡estás en el lugar correcto! A continuación, te explicamos paso a paso cómo crear tu anuncio de manera sencilla.
1. Crea tu cuenta en Caraving
Lo primero que necesitas es tener una cuenta en nuestra plataforma. Si aún no la tienes, crea tu cuenta Caraving en pocos minutos. Una vez lista, inicia sesión con tu usuario y contraseña.
2. Accede a la opción "Crear Anuncio"
Una vez dentro de tu cuenta, verás el botón “Crear Anuncio” en la parte superior de la página principal. Haz clic en él y sigue el proceso guiado. En la siguiente pantalla, selecciona de nuevo “Crear Anuncio” y pulsa “Siguiente” para comenzar a rellenar los detalles de tu vehículo.
3. Rellena la información de tu anuncio
Caravana y Viajeros
¿Qué alquilas? Elige si estás alquilando una caravana o autocaravana.
¿Cómo la alquilas? Tienes dos opciones:
Instalada en camping: Si ya está fija en un camping.
Te la llevo al camping: Si tienes que llevarla al camping en las fechas de la reserva.
¿Los viajeros pueden usar todas las comodidades? Marca "Sí" o "No", dependiendo de qué accesorios permitas usar, como cocina, ducha, etc.
Viajeros: Indica cuántas personas pueden dormir cómodamente.
Ambientes: Selecciona la cantidad de ambientes que tiene tu vehículo.
Distribución de camas: Especifica cuántas camas tiene y dónde están ubicadas.
Cuarto de baño: Si el baño está completo (con ducha, lavabo y WC), selecciona 1. Si no, selecciona 0,5.
Una vez rellenados estos campos, pulsa “Guardar” y pasa al siguiente apartado.
Ubicación
Dirección: Añade la dirección donde se encuentra actualmente tu caravana. Al seleccionarlo en el desplegable, se completará automáticamente el resto de datos de la dirección.
Radio de búsqueda: Indica en kilómetros el área en la que te ofreces a llevar tu vehículo. Esto ayudará a los Viajeros a encontrarte si buscan dentro de ese radio de kilómetros alrededor de la dirección añadida.
Instrucciones de llegada: Si los viajeros necesitan instrucciones específicas para llegar al camping, puedes anotarlas aquí.
Haz clic en “Guardar” para avanzar al apartado siguiente.
Descripción del anuncio
Este es el momento para brillar. Crea un título atractivo y una descripción detallada. Explica qué hace especial tu caravana, los campings donde puedes llevarla y cualquier otra información importante para los viajeros.
Nombre completo de los campings: En este apartado, es recomendable incluir el nombre completo del camping (asegurándote de que contenga la palabra "Camping"), seguido de la localidad y provincia a la que pertenece. Esto hará que tu anuncio sea más fácil de encontrar cuando un Viajero haga una búsqueda en Google, Yahoo o cualquier otro buscador web.
Organiza la información de manera clara, separando los campings que no requieren ningún suplemento de kilometraje por el Servicio de Entrega de aquellos que sí lo tienen. Para los campings con suplemento, indica directamente el coste adicional en la descripción.
Especificar los precios en este apartado te permitirá evitar cálculos constantes y consultas repetitivas por parte de los Viajeros, ahorrando tiempo tanto a ellos como a ti como Anfitrión. De este modo, la información quedará clara desde el principio, facilitando la toma de decisiones y agilizando el proceso de reserva.
Pulsa “Guardar” y avanza a Más Información.
Más Información
Selecciona las comodidades disponibles en tu vehículo (aire acondicionado, calefacción, etc.). No olvides revisar las Normas del Anfitrión y, cuando todo esté listo, guarda los cambios.
Fotos
Sube imágenes de tu caravana o autocaravana. Recuerda que las fotos no deben superar los 2 MB. Si tus fotos tienen un peso superior o tienes algún problema al subirlas, ¡contáctanos y te ayudaremos rápidamente! Podrás organizarlas como prefieras una vez subidas.
Pulsa “Guardar” y pasa al siguiente paso.
Vídeo
Si tienes un vídeo de tu vehículo en YouTube, solo necesitas añadir el enlace. Si no tienes canal de YouTube, puedes enviarnos el vídeo y lo subiremos en nuestro canal para que lo utilices en tu anuncio.
Guarda los cambios y sigue con el apartado de Reserva.
Reserva
Tipo de Reserva
Puedes elegir entre “Petición de Reserva” o “Reserva Instantánea”. Si eres nuevo, te recomendamos empezar con la Petición de Reserva.
Política de Cancelación
Haz clic en el ícono de información (i) para conocer nuestras políticas de cancelación y elige la que mejor se adapte a ti.
Cuando termines, guarda y pasa a Disponibilidad.
Disponibilidad
Días de aviso: Indica cuántos días necesitas para preparar una reserva. Por ejemplo, si seleccionas 3 días, no recibirás reservas de última hora y solo recibirás peticiónes a partir de 3 días en adelante.
Llegada a partir de: Te recomendamos seleccionar la opción Flexible que tomará las 15:00h como referencia para calcular las políticas de cancelación.
Salida antes de: Selecciona una hora razonable para desmontar la caravana, como las 10:00 o 11:00. Recuerda que las reseñas y la opción de crear una disputa se activan a la hora de salida seleccionada aquí, por lo que es ideal estar los dos presentes.
Estancia mínima y máxima: Indica el número de noches mínimo y máximo que aceptas.
Haz clic en Guardar para pasar al último apartado.
Precios
Especifica el precio por noche en temporada baja (como invierno) y el precio por fin de semana tambien de temporada baja. Recuerda que podrás ajustar precios especiales para puentes y temporadas altas más adelante desde el Calendario.
Si no sabes qué precio ponerle a tu caravana, hemos creado el artículo "Cómo establecer el precio ideal para alquilar tu caravana" que te servirá de guía para poder calcular tu suplemento.
Tarifa de limpieza: Se eliminará esta opción próximamente. En su lugar se añade una cláusula en el contrato de alquiler.
Fianza: Establece el importe de fianza que requieres.
Entrega(€ por km): Anota el precio por kilómetros que le cobrarás al Viajero en el supuesto de que la lleves a algún camping lejano a tu ubicación actual. Hemos creado el artículo "Precio del Kilometraje para el Servicio de Entrega en el Camping" que te servirá de guía para poder calcular tu suplemento.
También puedes crear descuentos por larga estancia o reserva anticipada, pero recuerda que si aplican varios, solo se elegirá el más beneficioso para el viajero.
Cuando termines, haz clic en “Guardar” y luego en “Publicar”.
4. Revisión y publicación
Tu anuncio pasará a revisión por parte del equipo de Caraving. Una vez aprobado, recibirás un email de confirmación.
¡No olvides completar tu perfil con una foto y verificar tu número de teléfono para que podamos validar tu anuncio!
Finalmente, te recomendamos configurar tus precios de temporada alta desde el Calendario una vez que tu anuncio esté activo.
Payment Methods and Payouts Available on Caraving
Caraving offers various payment methods to ensure secure and convenient transactions for all users. Currently, we accept the following forms of payment:
- Credit and Debit Cards (Travelers Payments and Refunds): Visa, MasterCard, and others that can be verified during the payment process.
- Bank Transfers: Available only for Hosts for receiving payouts for their rentals.
- Online Payment Platforms: Such as Stripe, available for Hosts when receiving payouts for their rentals, providing a more flexible, fast, and secure payment experience. (Caraving's recommended option)
To make a payment:
- Select the desired vehicle: Browse the available options and choose the one that best suits your needs.
- Start the booking process: Click on "Confirm Booking" and follow the instructions.
- Choose your preferred payment method: In the payment section, select your preferred option from those available.
- Complete the transaction: Enter the necessary details and confirm the payment.
You can also securely save your payment method for greater convenience and speed in future bookings and payments.

2. Verify the installation at the campsite
Before anything else, contact the chosen campsite to confirm they allow caravan delivery and pickup on the assigned pitch. Make sure you're familiar with and comply with their specific procedures to avoid unexpected issues.
3. Complete the Vehicle Verification Form
Together with the Traveler, fill out the Vehicle Verification Form during both delivery and return. This document ensures a transparent and professional handover. 4. Sign a rental agreement
We recommend formalizing the booking with a contract signed by both parties. This adds clarity and security to the rental terms. 5. Coordinate the security deposit
If you require a deposit, agree in advance with the Traveler on the procedure for delivering and returning it. Establishing this process early helps prevent confusion and ensures transparent handling.
6. Offer a welcome gift

7. Enhance the security of your caravan
Safety is essential for your peace of mind and that of the Traveler. Consider equipping your caravan with basic safety features like a hitch lock, GPS tracker, wheel clamp, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, fire blanket, smoke and CO detectors, alarm system, and high-security locks. These are affordable and add an extra layer of protection.
8. Access Caraving's 24/7 emergency service
For any incidents during the stay, both you and the Traveler can contact our emergency service by calling the 24-hour hotline. This number can be found at the bottom of the “Receipt” available in the booking details.
9. Invite your friends to Caraving and earn Travel Credit
If you’re enjoying your Caraving experience, log in to your Caraving account and send your referral link from your profile (Profile > Recommend & Earn). Recommending Caraving is simple:

• Send an invitation directly from Caraving by entering your friend’s email address and clicking Send invitation, or
