What is the Cancellation and Refund Policy?

Sometimes plans change for our Travelers and they may need to cancel an already confirmed reservation. Cancellations by Travelers create problems and potential financial losses for Hosts because as the arrival date approaches, the Host's ability to re-rent their caravaning vehicles becomes increasingly difficult.

We have developed Cancellation Policies at Caraving to provide flexibility to Travelers, while providing security and guarantees to Hosts.

  • Provided that the Traveler is the beneficiary of some type of refund if the reservation has been canceled before the arrival time, the Traveler will receive 100% of the Cleaning Fee.

    If the reservation is canceled after the arrival time , the Host will receive 100% of the Cleaning Fee.

    The Service Fee will never be refunded to the Traveler if he or she cancels the reservation.

Penalties

You can cancel the Booking upto 3 times. Cancel before 10 days the penalty amount of € 100 will be applied, Cancel less than 10 days the penalty amount of € 150 will be applied.

Cancellations by hosts

Our Cancellation Policies have been created seeking a balance between both parties and thus maintaining the good health and integrity of the Caraving Platform. When a Host cancels a reservation before booking start, the Traveler will receive a 100% refund. If Host cancel after booking start, the Host will receive full payment for the days enjoyed by the Traveler except the Host commission, and the Traveler will receive a refund for the remaining nights.
